Sisters in the Spirit, Inc.
is a unique ministry that was founded in 1996 when eleven sister friends decided to step off the treadmill of life and relax in a beautiful beach house on Amelia Island, Florida. We laughed, cooked, prayed, played and shopped that weekend. On Sunday morning, we worshiped on the Atlantic ocean and one of the sisters said, "when are we doing this again?" and ministry was born.
Since then, we have twenty years+ spiritual retreats for women in Sevierville, TN, Destin, FL, Sedona, AR, Bumpass, VA, Gatlinburg, TN, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Orlando, FL, Callaway Gardens, GA, Tampa, FL, Johannesburg, South Africa, Savannah, GA, Chicago, IL, Kansas City, MO, Los Angeles, CA, and Northern Virginia. Our retreats are warm, fun, anointed times with amazing sisters who love and support each other.
Our mission is delivered via an interesting, uniquely curated collection of experiences to include Retreats, Gatherings, Studies, and Restorative events. Our logo sums up our purpose: My sister has my back and I am her keeper (the faces). Our sisterhood rests on the foundation of the power of the Holy Spirit (the dove) as our friendships support the new colors of purple and teal which supports royalty, openness, clarity of vision, truth and faith.
